‘‘अटल सम्मान समारोह’’ एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तरीय आयोजन  है, यह हर वर्ष 24 दिसम्बर को दोपहर 1 बजे संसद भवन अथवा विज्ञान भवन में आयोजित किया जाता है। जिसमें देश की विभिन्न क्षेत्रों की सुप्रसिद्ध हस्तियों व प्रतिभाओं को सम्मानित किया जाता । यह आयोजन पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री भारत रत्न श्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी जी के जन्मदिवस के उपलक्ष्य में किया जाता है ताकि उनके प्रेरणामयी व्यक्तित्व का प्रचार-प्रसार जनमानस में और अधिक किया जा सके। इसमें आवेदन की प्रक्रीया पूर्णतः निशुल्क है व अत्यंत सरलतम तरीके से atalsammansamaroh@gma पर मेल की जा सकती है। अटल सम्मान समारोह के संरक्षक प्रसिद्ध कलाकार व सांसद श्री मनोज तिवारी हैं। श्री श्याम जाजू, श्री अजय महावर, श्री रोशन कंसल आदि सहित वाईस चेयरमैन श्री नीरज गुप्ता, डिप्टी चेयरमैन श्री नवीन तायल व अध्यक्ष श्री भुवनेश सिंघल हैं। इसकी चयन समिति में प्रतिवर्ष 3 सदस्ययी होती है जिसमें देश के कला जगत के शीर्षस्थ लोग होते हैं।

यह सम्मान समारोह देशभर में सर्वाधिक प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान है। इसमें श्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी के जन्म दिवस 25 दिसम्बर के उपलक्ष्य में 25 सम्मान विभिन्न कैटेगिरी में दिये जाते हैं जो देश के अत्यंत प्रतिष्ठित महानुभावों को उनके श्रेष्ठ कार्यों के लिए दिए जाते हैं।

यह आयोजन पूर्णतः अटल जी को समर्पित  है व राष्ट्रवाद व भारतीय संस्कृति पर आधारित होता है जिसको गरिमा प्रदान करने के लिए विभिन्न राज्यपाल, मुख्यमंत्री, केन्द्रीय मंत्री, सांसद, बुद्धिजीवी, फिल्मी कलाकार व अन्य क्षेत्रों के प्रतिष्ठित महानुभावों आदि उपस्थित रहते है।

इस अवसर पर सुप्रसिद्ध कलाकारों द्वारा कला का प्रस्तुतिकरण भी किया जाता है व अटल जी पर वृतचित्र का प्रसारण भी किया जाता है। दर्शकों का विशेष ध्यान रखते हुए प्रारम्भ में सभी श्रोताओं का तिलक व पुष्प माला से अभिनंदन व अंत में सभी श्रोताओं को अतिथियों द्वारा प्रतीक चिन्ह भेंट किया जाता है

यह सम्मान महामहिम राष्ट्रपति जी को भी दिया जा चुका है। तथा पद्मभूषण विन्देश्वर पाठक, पद्मश्री भजन सोपोरी, श्रीधर पराड़कर, धु्रपद गायक पद्मश्री वसीफुद्दीन, कत्थक गुरू जितेन्द्र जी महाराज, एम्स के डायरेक्टर डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया, आरूषि पोखरियाल निशंक, फिल्म अभिनेत्री अमीषा पटेल, पद्मश्री मालिनी अवस्थी, गायक नरेन्द्र चंचल, मोटिवेशलन स्पीकर सोनू शर्मा, गायक, पदमश्री जितेन्द्र सिंह शंटी, अनूप जलोटा, शंकर साहनी, कुमार विशु, सोनिया रावत, रेडियो जॉकी राहुल माकिन, फिल्मी व टीवी कलाकार पवन कुमार, उत्तर कुमार, मनोज बक्सी, कत्थक नृतक पदमश्री नलिनी-कमलनी, समाजसेवी नवीन तायल, पत्रकार प्रबल प्रताप, सांसद ओम प्रकाश यादव, साहित्यकार पं. सुरेश नीरव, महामण्डलेश्वर स्वामी प्रज्ञानन्द, पी पी ज्वैलर्स के मालिक पवन गुप्ता, प्रसिद्ध व्यवसायी एस. एस. अग्रवाल, सत्यभूषण जैन, कलाकार सलीम जैदी टिल्लू, वीर चक्र विजेता कर्नल टी.पी. त्यागी, मेजर एस. पी. सिन्हा, शौर्य चक्र विजेता मोहन सिंह रावत व मरणोपरांत अशोक चक्र विजेता शहीद श्री मोहित शर्मा आदि को अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों के दिग्गजों को दिया जा चुका है। दर्शकों का प्रवेश केवल 12ः00 से 12ः45 के मध्य होता है। दर्शकों को प्रवेश के लिए पूर्व में जारी किया गया प्रवेश पत्र और कोई भी एक पहचान पत्र साथ लाना अनिवार्य होता है। कार्यक्रम में सभी दर्शकों का स्वागत पुष्प माला/अंग वस्त्र व तिलक और शंखनाद-मंत्रोच्चार आदि कर पारम्परिक व सांस्कृतिक तरीके से किया जाता है। तथा अंत में सभी को प्रतीक चिन्ह भेंट किया जाता है। अर्वार्डियों, अतिथियों व स्पॉन्सर्स  आदि का बैठने का स्थान विशेष व पूर्व निर्धारित होता है। इन सभी के प्रवेश हेतु सात दिन पहले विशेष प्रकार के ऐंट्री पास जारी किए जाते हैं तथा इन सभी को प्रथम गेट में प्रवेश के साथ ही अपना पास व अपनी पहचान वहां मौजूद बाउंसर्स/पदाधिकारी को बतानी होती है ताकि उनको 2 निजी सुरक्षाकर्मी उनको प्रदान किये जा सर्कें। अवॉर्डियों व अतिथियों का सम्मान अत्यंत सुव्यवस्थित तरीके से किया जाता है। 11-21 ब्राह्मणों द्वारा पारम्परिक वेशभूषा में वैदिक संस्कृति के अनुसार शंखनाद व मंत्रोच्चार के साथ किया जाता है तथा तिलक, कलावा, नारियल, चौकी, श्रीमद भगवत गीता, सम्मान पत्र, प्रतीक चिन्ह, माता वैष्णों देवी की चुनरी शॉल, वृंदावन बांके विहारी मंदिर की विशेष पूजित माला, वाराणसी मंदिर का प्रसादम, हरिद्वार से गंगाजल व गंगाजलि व माणिक्य माला आदि भेंट कर सम्मानित किया जाता है। प्रत्येक अवॉर्डी का परिचय स्क्रीन पर दिखाया जाता है तथा उनके सम्मान पत्र का वाचन किया जाता है। आयोजन में चयन समिति, आयोजन समिति, स्वागत समिति का बैठने का स्थान अलग निर्धारित होता है । विज्ञापनदाता, सहायक, भी आमंत्रित रहते है । आयोजन से 2-3 दिन पहले देश के प्रतिष्ठित प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इण्डिया में एक बड़ी प्रेस वार्ता की जाती है। यह आयोजन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर का आयोजन है तथा इसमें देश-विदेश के योग्य व प्रतिभावान लोगों को अटल जी के नाम पर सम्मानित किया जाता है। इसमें कुछ वह लोग होते हैं जो योग्य होते हैं मगर उनकी योग्यता देश के सम्मुख नहीं आ पाती अर्थात छुपी रहती है। तथा कुछ ऐसे लोग होते हैं जिनकी फैन फोलोविंग लाखों में होती है जो देश की सेलेब्रेटी होती हैं। इनको देश के प्रमुख शीर्ष लोगों द्वारा सम्मानित किया जाता है।

In which eminent personalities and talents of different fields of the country were honored. This event is organized on the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji so that his inspirational personality can be spread more in the public mind. In this the process of application is completely free and can be mailed to atalsammansamaroh@gma in the most simple way. The patron of Atal Samman Samaroh is famous artist and MP Shri Manoj Tiwari. Mr. Shyam Jaju, Mr. Ajay Mahawar, Mr. Roshan Kansal etc. along with Vice Chairman Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Deputy Chairman Mr. Naveen Tayal and Chairman Mr. Bhuvnesh Singhal. Its selection committee consists of 3 members every year, in which the top people of the art world of the country.

This award ceremony is the most prestigious honor in the country. In this, on the occasion of the birthday of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25, 25 honors are given in different categories, which are given to the most eminent personalities of the country for their best works.

This event is completely dedicated to Atal ji and is based on nationalism and Indian culture, to give dignity to which various governors, chief ministers, union ministers, parliamentarians, intellectuals, film artists and eminent personalities from other fields are present.

On this occasion, art is also presented by well-known artists and documentary films are also broadcast on Atal ji. Taking special care of the audience, initially all the listeners are greeted with tilak and flower garland and in the end all the listeners are presented with a memento by the guests.

A big press conference is held in the prestigious Press Club of India 2-3 days before the event.
